Dr. Charleen Gonden, DNP, RN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC: Restorative Behavioral Health, Inc. was founded by a doctoral prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Charleen Gonden, DNP, RN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC. Dr. Gonden is committed to empathic and lasting relationships with clients and the community. Her goal is to aid each individual as they pursue wholeness and freedom from the weight of mental and emotional distress. Dr. Gonden works with all those seeking help for all psychiatric illness, treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. She understands the importance of keeping abreast of evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment modalities and is well-versed in treating the following diagnoses, including- yet not limited to: ADHD, anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and PTSD.
Gerardo Grasso, MSW, LSW: Gerardo Grasso began with Restorative Behavioral Health, Inc. from its inception in 2021. He has over 15 years of experience working in residential facilities and community programs for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health disorders. Gerardo also has experience developing human service companies and programs throughout the northeastern United States. His therapeutic methods, approaches, and philosophies primarily focus on supporting his clients to achieve transformational change in their thinking, perception, and behavior. Through a therapeutic alliance/relationship, Gerardo supports his clients in obtaining a significant change in the way they sense the world around them and relating to internal representations in a more positive manner, eventually returning to previous mental models that lead to large alterations in external behavior. He has worked with all age groups and specializes in the areas of Autism, Mental Health, and Behavioral Health. Gerardo has a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Clinical Practices. He prefers to utilize a solution-focused approach to therapy, however, he is well versed in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy and may adapt any one of these approaches to meet his client’s individualized needs.
